Who is The SBS Art Department?

Jenn Schulte
The Talent

Jenn has always been an artist. She worked on art all through grade school and high school, and received her BFA from NWMSU in Maryville, MO, with emphasis in painting (art, not houses), photography (with real film!), and graphic design (hey, there’s something people might pay me to do!).
She worked for Design 8 Studios in Omaha, NE, for 6 years as the graphic designer, artist, sign and vinyl installer, and just about everything else. She even did some stuff that got in commercials and movies!
When the call to motherhood came, she embraced it, eventually leaving the lights of the big city behind, and hauling hubby and kid back to her home town of Moberly Missouri.
She has sold vintage clothing online for the last 7 years through her own website, all the while dabbling in and pining for the glory that is being a working graphic designer (no, really!).
She has grown The Art Department from an offshoot of Superior Business Solutions, the company owned and operated by hubby Jeff (see below).

Jeff Schulte
The Brains

Jeff has a mind for business. A lover of math, numbers, facts and data, he excelled at school. He received his BSBA (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration) and his Masters in Accounting from UNO in Omaha, NE, (now that’s excitement!). He worked as an accountant for National Indemnity (one of Warren Buffet’s companies) for a while, and eventually found his way to Signs & Shapes International (they make inflatable mascots of all things!) and became their CFO.
He moved to Moberly with his wife and son (this sounds familiar) to see what life in a small town had to offer. He started Superior Business Solutions as a way to use his business savvy to better the world. He specializes in taxes, business advisement, and bookkeeping (he taught an artist how, he can help you, too!). Shortly after SBS’s inception, he recognized the need for quality graphics and print materials for his small business clients. The SBS Art Department was born!
